Edifier

Well, it's Tuesday. What powerful week ahead. If you have not made plans yet or even if you have made plans, remember EASTER is only 12 days away. So, don't forget about you Save 5.

I wanted to talk to you about how to edify others.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (New Living Translation)

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

It can be easier to be negative and not encourage one another in the world we live in. But the bible states we are not to be conformed into the image of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. This means the only way I can encourage someone else is by renewing my mind with the Word of God. The Word of God encourages us to encourage someone else. If you are feeling down, find someone to encourage and you will feel encouraged too.

Worship Vs. Works

WOW! What an awesome weekend! It started out with a bang at the first annual Cedar Park Parade. I'm so honored to be the Senior Pastor of Breath of Life Worship Centre´the greatest church in the World. We had probably the best float out there and I am not being bias. I want to openly thank Crystal Cortes for creating and making the float. To everyone else, thank you for being in the parade, it would not have been as successful without your participation

The week ended up with a bang with our Sunday Service. To all of our members Pastor Veronica and I love and appreciate you serving with your time, talents, and treasures. Most important God is proud of you.

Luke 10:40-42 (King James Version)

40But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Martha was more concerned about the work that needed to be done then taking time to refresh herself by spending time with Jesus. Many times it can get easier to place our work and things that need to be done around the house in front of spending time in a devotion and connecting to a local church with our time, talents and treasures. We must make the time to spend with our Savior. It is just like at work, you have meeting most of the time every day in the morning so to abreast everyone on what they need to do. When we spend time with God every day, He abreast us about our day, week, and in every area of life.

So, today take the time and spend with the owner of our life and get the greatest advice and wisdom that will lead us to true success.

The Mask will slip

Luke 12:1 (The Message)

1-3By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other's toes, numbered into the thousands. But Jesus' primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, "Watch yourselves carefully so you don't get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness. You can't keep your true self hidden forever; before long you'll be exposed. You can't hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known. You can't whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day's coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.

In life it can be easy to put on a mask. The world tells us to fake it till you make it, but the only problem with that is you will never make it, because the mask will slip. We have to first be open to God and then we can face it, trace it, erase it, and then replace what has caused us to place the mask on with the what God says about our situation.

Today, take the mask off, with God nothing is impossible. The only thing that stands is God's word. He will make it happen. He will keep it going and He will allow you and I to see what He has promised come to pass. It's never to late.

See

Well, it is Wednesday and most of us only have 2 more days of work.

2 Kings 6:15-18 (King James Version)

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Elisha prayed God would open his assistant's eyes so he could see what he was seeing. Many times what we see is the army like the servant, but when we ask God to open our eyes, we see their is a way out. We see the sun shinning on the other side. Today ask God to open your eyes to see what you have believed God for and not what you are looking at today.

Precise Decision

The bible states this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice. I want to blog about Precise Decision.

In Joshua 5:12-14 Joshua was looking at Jericho and trying to see how he was going to take the city. God interrupted his decision making and gave him precise decision on what to do.

When we seek God and seek Him with all our heart, He will give us precise decisions on matters of our heart. He has and knows every strategy to accomplish what we are facing and it will bring us true success.

Creative Mind

Wow! What an awesome service we had today. I finished the series about giving. If you missed it, you can go back and view it. click here to view

The bible states in Romans 12:2 K.J.V.
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We must spend time renewing our mind with the Word of God. We do this by daily reading and confessing what the Word of God states vs. what our mind, will, and emotions might say. When we do this we renew our mind and are able to see what God sees. Remember nothing is impossible unto him that believeth.

God Bless,

Pastor
