Inner Circle

I hope all of you have had a successful week so far. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Monday September 07, 2009 at 6:00 AM. Wake Up With the Pastors is live on the Internet. Click here for more info.

When I was growing up my parents never allowed me to associate with certain people. These individuals where people that were not conducive to the development of my life. So it is with our life. Are the people in your inner circle helping or hurting you? If you want to grow in your life, you must allow God to place you with people that will enlarge you and that tell you the truth. Many times we associate with people that like us and we like them, but are really not healthy for our life.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

When we connect with people on simply the basis of the flesh and not the spirit then we gain a carnal relationship built upon the philosophy of the world instead of the theology of God’s Word.

Today, allow God to connect you with people that will be your inner circle. My prayer is Lord use me and expand me.

Pastor Mark

Acquisition of enjoying Life

WOW! What an Awesome Service we had yesterday. Don't miss this Wednesday for anything. I want to remind all that we will be starting our Morning Show on September 7, 2009 @ 6:30 a.m.- click here for more information .

1 Kings 19:7 (King James Version)

And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

Life at times can be very busy. Dropping the children off at daycare, school, going to work, projects due, lawn needs cut, house needs cleaned, car needs washing, and the list goes on and on. But the key to enjoying life and not enduring it is taking time out and spending it with God.

Jesus was having discourse to a woman at the well and explaining to her about having Him as the center of her life will remove all the stress, struggle, and strain.

John 4:11-13 (King James Version)

11The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?12Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?13Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

The woman was more concerned about all the legalities and her everyday life. She failed to understand every source of strength see needs comes from Him.

Today, take time and allow His strength to energize you. He can place a spiritual energizer in your spirit that will take the stress, struggle, and strain our of life. You will then be able to enjoy it, then endure it.

Positioned for Success

It's Friday, Make sure to plan this weekend to come to church. The message I have is going to be off the chart. Don't miss it, bring your family, friends, neighbor's, co-workers and see God move in their life.

Genesis 6:8 K.J.V. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Ergonomic is that which is intended to provide optimum comfort and to avoid stress or injury. God's ergonomic is designed to provide a stress free environment. He does this with His grace. It takes the stress, struggle, and strain out of our life.

If you were to go and build an in ground pool in your backyard and all you had was a shovel, it would be almost impossible to do. It would probably take you weeks to finish. But if you went and obtained a back hoe and began to dig, it would not take you long at all. The back hoe took the stress, struggle, and strain out of the project. That is the same with grace. It takes the stress, struggle, and strain out of our life.

Acts 4:33 (King James Version)

33And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

They had great grace. Another words they were fully equipped to handle all the tasks that were ahead. They were positioned for success.

Today, position yourself for success by allowing His grace in your life and see God's greatness come out.

Passion for Purpose

It's Wednesday, What an exciting time we are having serving God. Our excitement is not predicated upon what is happening around us, but what is happening within.

Matthew 6:33 (New Living Translation)

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Passion is strong and a barely controllable emotion. Passions in our life causes us to act and react to situations. For example if you have children and someone does something to harm them, you probably would become very passionate about making the situation right and bring justice to the person that is trying to hurt your child. But passion without purpose is simply uncontrollable emotion that will end up in death.

Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Righteousness in it's simplest form is being in right standing with God. The Kingdom of God is God's form, fashion, and way of life. Kingdom is a King that has a dominion. So, when we make Jesus the Lord of our Life, we make Him King over all our Kingdom or life. Another way of putting this is He is the owner, and we are the managers. As managers, we must always consult the Owner in every area of our life to bring about His best interest for our lives.

When we do this, our passions will have purpose. In John 2:17 it says

Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume me.

Jesus had walked into the temple and found they were miss using the House of God. He then began to remove those that had wrongfully used the House of God. He had passion and purpose. Jesus said at the end "My house will be called a House of Prayer"; His passion had purpose.

Today, make sure your passions are not derived from a bad root or an emotional scar. Let it be with God ordained purpose.

Leading By Example

WoW! What an Awesome Service we had. If you missed it, go back and see it for yourself. www.breathoflifechurch.com

2 Samuel 23:15-17 (King James Version)
15And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!

16And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD.

17And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

Every one is a leader to someone. But great leaders lead by example. They don't just preach it, they live what they preach. David exemplified a leader that led by example. King David's men had seen their leader sacrifice and follow God. They were committed to God, but connected to leadership.

They were so connected that they were willing to sacrifice it all for their leader. But King David was so committed to God's heart, he didn't take advantage of them, but poured the water out.

Now, some might say this act was an act of religion. By King David pouring out the water did not undermine the 3 men nor what they sacrificed. He saw the sacrifice as selfless and their commitment to the cause and their connection to him. He poured it out not to undermine their sacrifice for their leader, but to show them his sacrifice unto the Lord.

He was leading by example. Just as they sacrificed their lives for a natural King, so did King David sacrifice his life for the true King-Jesus.

Today, lead by example in every area of your life. Refuse to settle but for nothing but God's best in life.

It's all Worth It

It's Friday, Can't wait till Sunday. It's going to be awesome. Bring a friend you don't wont to miss it.

Luke 2:52 (King James Version)

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man

Kinetic is of, relating to, or resulting from motion. In our life our faith in Christ causes the motion toward what His will is in our life. Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. It's His Word that will cause our faith to expand.

Many times we have faith failure, not because we didn't have faith, but it's where our faith was place in.

Daniel 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

The 3 Hebrew Men did not compromise their integrity and character. They did not place there faith in their abilities, or assume things were just going to work out, no they placed their faith in God's Word. This faith in God caused spiritual Kinetic energy to happen.

Today, don't compromise in any area of your life. Don't sacrifice the permeate upon the altar of immediate. The end of the story is they received promotion and those that came against them were eliminated. At the end it will be all worth it.

Building a Legacy to Leave a Legacy

It's Wednesday. I welcome all out tonight to our Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7:30 P.M.
You don't wont to miss it.

Genesis 6:14 (King James Version)

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Many students across America are gearing up to start school. Some have already started and others soon. The question I have is, what legacy are we leaving for our children.

The bible states Noah found grace in the sight of God. God shaw the potential in Noah and that He would follow through on what He asked him to do. I want you to know God sees potential in you and I. He is looking to see if we will follow through like Noah did.

Noah built something that even to this day was systemically sound and had a buoyancy to float in water. He didn't listen to those around him. Those who said it would never rain. People will always try to distract you from pursuing God. But Noah stayed the course and continued building a legacy for him and for his children.

Proverbs 13:22 (King James Version)A good man leave an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

When we follow the way of the Lord in our attitude, conduct, and association, we are building a legacy to leave a legacy.

Today, allow His voice to be the voice that influences you. Allow His attitude be the attitude you have with others. And finally, allow His Word to in filter every area of your life. Then you will be building a legacy to leave a legacy. It's not how you start, it's that you finish and finish strong.

God Bless,
