Stewards of Purpose

Proverbs 15:22 (King James Version)

Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

God designed each one of us with purpose in life. With this purpose we will be able to live life to the fullest. Every purpose in life comes from God. The question becomes what is your purpose in life? What did God call you to do?

The primary responsibility of a leader and or person in a purpose-based organization is to build, nurture, and sustain the core purpose of the organization.

In Genesis God said, let us make man in our image and after our likeness and give him authority over every living creation. It’s God’s will that we know what our purpose in life is.

Here are 3 basic topics to help us along.

1. Make it a priority to place God first. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

2. Believe in the purpose God has given you. Habakkuk 2:3 states the vision is for an appointed time. Don’t get stuck on numbers and performance, but in pursuing God and in the pursuit the rest will follow.

3. Stay focused on what you are fighting for. I Timothy 6:12 states to fight the good fight of faith. Don’t be moved by the foxes. They are the ones that spoil the vine. Pick and choose your battles. Remember the fight is a fixed fight and as long as you and I continue to follow Christ, we will have the victory. Stay with what God said is yours and you will be able to reach your full potential in Christ.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark
