Confident

It's Wednesday and we are almost half way through the work week. Tonight we have our first bible study. You don't wont to miss it. It is going to be awesome.

Philippians 1:6 (King James Version)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Being confident is not being proud or arrogant. Thinking no one can do it better, no it is the very opposite. Confidence comes from within. Let me give an example. There was a bull dog, and every day a poodle would walk by the yard with its owner and would bark violently at the bull dog, but the bull dog never moved or bark. You see, the bull dog knew or was so confident, he didn't need to address the pettiness of this poodle. One bit could kill the poodle. So it is with us. We must not be moved when the poodles in life talk to us through emails, text, twitter, facebook, IM, or whatever form of communication. We must be confident in what God has placed in us.

Jesus said we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. We are more than. You need to walk around the room and declare you are more than. More than any negative thought, more than any lie the enemy places in front of you. You and I were born to live life to the fullest and with God all things are possible.

God Bless,

Pastor

  1. Great blog Pastor, I remind myself as well as my children that they are champions, they are above and not beneath, they are leaders and not followers, they are elementary, middle, high school and college graduates. We are declaring God's word and being confident in who we are in Him.
