What do you See?

WoW! It's Wednesday. I'm excited about Encounter Night Tonight. Don't miss it. It starts at 7:30 P.M. go to www.breathoflifechurch.com for directions.

Numbers 22:31 (New International Version)

Then the LORD opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell face down.

Many times in life we can get blinded by circumstances in our life. The objective we have to keep in focus is not to make a decision based upon your circumstance, but on the Word God gives you. Peter was in a boat with other disciples and their was a storm, but he saw Jesus coming to them walking on water. Peter didn't make a decision based upon his circumstance, instead he said, "Lord Bid me to come". And Jesus said Come. Peter moved on the Word of the Lord.

We must not make decisions based upon our circumstance. If we do, we will reap the result of the circumstance. If you are in a marital situation, don't make a move based upon what you feel and think, base it on the Word of the Lord. If you are in a financial situation, don't make a move based on what you see, See the Word of the Lord. His Word is the best answer, because He has our best interest out and will lead us into His Will.

Balaam's eyes were opened and he could see the decision he made based upon his circumstance was wrong and God intercepted the plan of the enemy and he saw the Word of the Lord and didn't die.

Today, take time and see the Word of the Lord, not what you feel, think, or want. He has the best strategy to accomplish every vision and dream in our life.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

  1. Great message. This reminds me of when I was going to school to become a nurse and God closed the door for me. I tried to make a decision based on my circumstance but GOD did not allow it. Of course now I definitely see the reason why based on the fact that we are very family oriented and being a nurse would make it difficult to spend time with each other without being tired, stressed, etc.
